Product Brochure
Overview
- Useful where the business PBX users are off site and do not have smart phones installed with a smart phone mobile application.
- These users can initiate a call back from the business’ 3CX PBX which will connect them to a local business extension or any other PBX destination, e.g. a queue or IVR.
- This call back service is facilitated at the business expense, rather than incurring a call cost against the user's mobile contract.
Functional Brief
- Call Back number: PBX telephone number, configured within the Call Back application. This must be one of PBX’s DID numbers.
- The external party places a call to the configured business “Call Back” number. The call does not ring, but is immediately disconnected by the business 3CX PBX.
- In response, the 3CX PBX makes an internal call to the “call back” number. The PBX then places a call to the external party and connects the two calls.
- If the “call back” number destination is busy, the call back service will fail and will not be repeated.
- In busy PBX environments, an IVR (plus queue) are recommended services associated with the Call Back number.
