Overview
- When making an outbound call over a public network (trunk), the Caller ID Controller application enables the business’ 3CX PBX to control the number displayed on the recipient’s handset
- In Call Centre environments, where the business Caller ID has been blocked or marked as SPAM, the 3CX PBX will automatically rotate through a predefined list of Caller ID numbers.
Functional Brief
3CX Caller ID Controller applies a predefined list (input by the business) of Caller ID numbers to the 3CX PBX trunk line.
A user defined time is configured to rotate the predefined Caller ID numbers based on their preference.
Concept:
- Upload a list of CID numbers in csv format.
- Select the trunk to which the CID list should be applied.
- Define a time (minutes) to rotate the CID number. eg. where time entered equals 60, the Caller ID number will change every 60 minutes for all outbound calls over the selected trunk.
- All PBX extensions calling over this trunk will use the CID defined for the trunk if the extension CID is blank.
